As a counselor, I believe my role is to come alongside you in your journey, providing a warm and supportive space where we can work together. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, grief, trauma, or simply feeling stuck, you don’t have to face it alone. I am passionate about helping teens, young adults, and adults navigate life’s challenges. My goal is to empower my clients to gain insight, align their lives with their values, build new skills, and find a greater sense of balance and well-being.
My approach to counseling involves integrating techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed therapy. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and use it, when appropriate, to help clients process traumatic experiences, reduce emotional distress, and move toward lasting healing. I take a holistic approach to counseling, recognizing the connection between our mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. For clients who desire Christian counseling, I thoughtfully integrate faith and biblical principles into the therapeutic process. In addition to individual counseling, I am a Prepare/Enrich facilitator and offer premarital and marriage counseling to help couples strengthen communication, deepen their connection, and build healthy relationship skills.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate practicing under supervision as I work toward full licensure. I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and my Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Spanish from Indiana Wesleyan University. Outside of the counseling office, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, coaching girls’ tennis, taking walks with my dog, reading, serving in youth ministries at my church, and staying active.
