As a counselor, I believe that you don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone. I enjoy working with adolescents and adults who are struggling with confidence, identity, life transitions, anxiety, depression, grief, or simply finding the words to express what they are experiencing. My hope is to provide a supportive space where you can better understand yourself, live more in alignment with your values, and pursue a fulfilling life even in the midst of difficult circumstances.
My approach to counseling draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed interventions. I believe our thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and experiences are deeply connected, and I enjoy helping clients develop greater awareness, self-compassion, and freedom to move forward. I am also completing EMDR basic training to expand my ability to help clients process trauma and work through areas of life where they feel stuck.
I believe in seeing each person as a whole—mind, body, relationships, and spirit. Grounded in faith and guided by biblical truth, I value integrating Christian principles into counseling for those who desire their faith to be part of the therapeutic process.
I earned my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and my bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Counseling from Taylor University. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate practicing under supervision while working toward full licensure.
Outside of counseling, I enjoy singing, slow mornings, spending time outdoors, and making memories with my husband.
